Updates
It been a good few weeks for me, tumblr! I’m finally on a path, (financially speaking) that is sound, with money coming in, and a job that gives me plenty of hours. I’ve been budgeting, leaving my wallet full of paper clips and post-it notes, and always a few dollars to spare as pay day approaches. By January I’ll have a steady enough income to pay back some debt and catch up on my weekly household contributions.
As far as health goes, I’ve been doing well on my diet. A few cheat days here and there, especially with the holidays, but i’m not discouraged. My house is full of low-calorie snacks, plenty of greek yogurt and quick lunches to bring with me to work. Back on track! I’m hoping to start a fitness regime at home, maybe some work out tapes and yoga. Also time to dust off the old free-weights I used in track & field training back in high school. Shedding the weight my old medication made me gain, and not eating crap all day is what I need to gain more self-confidence and feel more alive.
I’ve been in a wonderful place emotionally, and rarely have bad days anymore. I’ve been surrounding myself with positive people, and stress-free activities, and it’s really paying off. I no longer need or want any bad energy in my environment and negativity is something I’ve been doing my best to avoid.
